White Chevy Tahoe has peeling paint, can I fix it?

2000 Chevrolet Tahoe has typical GM white peeling paint. what caused it? How can I fix it? What started as a little spot turned out to be a bigger spot. I used a razor blade to get some paint off and another unconventional way to get some paint off. After some sanding, epoxy primer, paint, and tamco clearcoat this Tahoe looks brand new.
