This class was our final live mathematics performance task review session before students' upcoming examinations next Wednesday. The class worked through a hurricane preparedness task designed using the 2026 teacher's activity, covering parts that included calculating student sign-ups for hurricane preparedness activities, planning the schedule for the day, calculating the total area of the hurricane shelter, and determining the best supplier for emergency supplies based on cost calculations. I emphasised the importance of continued practice and announced plans to upload additional math and language arts mock tasks to the website, along with a marathon workshop scheduled for the weekend covering problem-solving strategies and essay writing techniques.
