AT A GLANCE AT EAST JAVA, TUBAN - Residents of Perunggahan Kulon Village, Semanding District, Tuban Regency, were shocked by the discovery of a middle-aged man lying in a pool of blood in a local plantation on Sunday afternoon (June 14, 2026). The victim, identified as Samijo (50), was found unconscious, apparently still breathing, with severe injuries to his head and ears. The Head of Perunggahan Kulon Village, Siswoko, stated that based on information he received, the incident was suspected to have been sparked by a fight between the victim and a resident named Agus. Samijo was reportedly unconscious at the time of this report's publication. Meanwhile, Agus, the victim's opponent in the duel, is suspected to have fled because he could not be found at his home. Agus's wife even claimed to be unaware of the relationship between her husband and Samijo. The Tuban Police are currently handling the case.
