[Piano Arrangement] Light and Despair Theme - Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 OST

This update features a piece suggested by a viewer—a very iconic BGM from ZZZ. It first appeared in Vivian's story during Version 1.7, and has been used in later story segments as well. Since the official title hasn’t been released, I've titled the score "Vivian's Theme". Similar to my earlier arrangement of Homecoming, this piece is also built around a repeating melodic phrase, so the overall arrangement approach was consistent with that project. However, two challenges stood out: how to build the emotional climax, and how to conclude the piece—the former especially stumped me for quite a while. My initial idea was to have the left hand play rapid 32nd-note runs, which did create a strong uplifting effect, but it turned out to be way too difficult to perform while recording… Later, I simplified it by redistributing some of those passages to the right hand, and barely managed to pull it off. As for the ending, I resolved it by adding two tonic chords. Finally, whispering here: winter is really not friendly. My fingers get so stiff when I play, and by the time they finally warm up, some time has already passed. Then, as I keep practicing, my hands start sweating, making the keys slippery and leading to mistakes. This whole "start-up time" and "overheating" situation is driving me crazy.
