E-Bikes ehrlich erlebt – Meine echten eMTB Favoriten 2025/26

In this video, I'll show you my personal e-MTB highlights for 2025/26. This season, I rode a huge number of e-bikes and e-mountain bikes from a wide variety of categories, price ranges, and with very different technical approaches. This video deliberately focuses not on all the models available on the market, but exclusively on the e-bikes I've personally ridden and that have left a lasting impression on me. I'll be sharing my real-world experiences on the trail from my workshop. This isn't about reading spec sheets or repeating marketing promises, but about honest, practical impressions. I'll talk about the riding feel, motor characteristics, weight, intended use, and why these particular e-MTBs were especially exciting for me. This isn't a ranking or a traditional buyer's guide, but rather a very personal selection of the bikes that stuck with me in 2025. The video includes the Specialized Levo, both the standard version and the S-Works and aluminum versions. The Levo is, in my opinion, one of the most versatile e-mountain bikes on the market. With its powerful motor, removable battery, very quiet operation, and high-quality construction, it covers an extremely wide range of uses. Also featured in the video is the Amflow PL, which I rode in both the more affordable and the high-end versions. This e-MTB feels significantly different from classic full-power e-bikes and demonstrates very well how much the riding experience and character can change through new technological concepts. Another highlight is the Yeti LTe with a Bosch motor. This e-MTB is clearly aimed at sporty enduro riders and feels very direct and responsive. It's not a comfort-oriented cruiser bike, but rather an e-mountain bike with clear Yeti DNA and a focus on performance. In addition, there's the Pivot Shuttle AM ​​with the new Bosch CX Gen 5, an uncompromising high-end e-MTB that offers exceptional performance both uphill and downhill, and is positioned at the very top in terms of both price and technology. I also talk about the Trek Fuel EX+ with the TQ HPR60 motor, which I rode in its most affordable version. For me, this bike represents a very exciting transition between a conventional bike and an e-MTB, and thanks to conversion options with a different rocker link and components, it offers the possibility of developing the bike significantly towards enduro riding. This adaptable concept is precisely what makes the Fuel EX+ so appealing to many riders. Weight is also a major topic in the video. Throughout the season, I've ridden a lot of heavy e-MTBs, including the Merida eONE-EIGHTY. This bike is anything but light, but it's incredibly fun, especially downhill, and clearly demonstrates that weight doesn't automatically mean less riding enjoyment. The Moustache Clutch with Pinion MGU is similar in this respect. Technically, it's one of the most exciting e-mountain bikes currently available—very heavy, but at the same time, a real glimpse into the future of integrated e-bike drive systems. This video showcases my honest experiences with e-bikes and e-mountain bikes during the 2025/26 season. I've personally ridden all the models presented, often for extended periods, which is precisely why they made this selection. Of course, there are many other excellent e-MTBs on the market, but this video focuses exclusively on my personal highlights and real-world impressions.
