Honda Recon Carburetor Rebuild

Just go to the part you need to view and skip the rest. In this video I take apart, clean and re-assemble a carburetor for a 2002 Honda TRX250 Recon ES. I've found that due to gas issues these carbs need to be cleaned/rebuilt every couple of years. (At least for me that seems to be the case) I have three carbs, including the one on the 4-wheeler, that I can work with. Two are rebuilt and ready to go on the machine when the jets clog or other issues arise with the one currently on the machine. This rebuild is from a recent carb exchange. The 4-wheeler would start, but would not idle. A classic sign that the pilot jet is clogged. In this rebuild I replace the pilot jet and the bowl seal after cleaning the carb. The carburetor is re-assembled and ready to go on the 4-wheeler when needed.
