Frankenweenie - Final confrontation - Storyboard Animatic

A Scene from Frankenweenie - This version differs from the final scene in the film in that here Mr. Burgermeister chases Sparky to the windmill. The movie version has Victor arriving first. In this version Burgermeister doesn't realise that his niece , Elsa is inside before he accidently sets it alight. Inside, Elsa is trying to save her dog Persephone. This storyboard also shows a mid scene battle between Sparky and the Vampire cat who knocks Sparky unconscious for a time. I drew a few versions of this scene during production on the film but this is the only version that seems to have survived the intervening years.
