Fun Facts: When it comes to song writing, the one rule that I always follow is "Don't bore us, get to the chorus". So I always start writing the chorus and I place it around the 1 minute mark in the DAW. Then I write the song around it. That means my intros are short and to the point. That became a problem with this song, because I wanted a much longer acapella intro (like in Born to Die) but that meant cutting down the verse and intro riff. So I settled on having a shorter intro that's just the first part of the chorus I wanted to flex my song writing skills by having several key-changes. So for this song, I did a little trial run where the first key change is on the guitar solo Christmas Metal was the joke title for this song. It was also going to be a Hxvoc solo song, but the lyrics in the chorus ended up having this 'musical theatre' vibe, so the ladies joined in This song was featured in Eclipsed Sounds newsletter and it was quite the shock for me. It took me a full second to go "wait... that's MY SONG???" and I'm still reeling in that high today
