This is the last Big V8  or big displacement engine mercedes produced.  6209cc v8 .  Normally aspirated.   Raw power  in a big sport sedan or estate car.   The M156 we now from several models from small C klasse up to the S klasse and everything in between. In the E klasse it producing 525 HP and 630nm  it is the same power level as the S-klasse   and almost 50 hp more then the C klasse. from of 2000rpm already above 500nm it is a very low end torque engine .  and very easy to drive.   the M156 was only produced in the E klasse from 2009 up to 2011  after 2011 the m157 5.5 bi turbo came The M156 version i pretty rare and was more expensive then the 5.5 biturbo car .  the Sedan is only produced 5224 times and the estate car is only produced 500 times and is one of the rarest normall production versions of AMG   there are several other modesl as a black series that are less produced as this.  but i think very collectable. This W212 is only delivered with the MCT 722.9  the W211 and early w204 AMG is produced with the early 722.9 with a torque converter.  It is taste but i prefer the torque converter car .  You will have less transmission settings but i prefer this just more.   In the E- klasse you would like to have a more business feeling so but the transmission is no perfect you feel the mct also in comfort  .  in later models this is better. the W212 has a lot of room and drives very good and is very stable car.  . the M156 i have a lot of info for this look here on the website under the C63 i have done reviews on it is an engine the in early versions need so maintenance but if this is al solved it is a very reliable package  have look on the website of henkgrooten.nl were this car is for sale,  https://henkgrooten.nl JMSpeedshop.com
