Hiking Course: Heukseok Course - Summit - Amusement Park Course Hiking Distance: Approximately 7km Hiking Time: Approximately 3 hours (4 hours total, including breaks) The Heukseok Course isn't a well-known hiking trail, but it was once a favorite among locals, becoming known for Cheonmun Falls and Heukseok Valley. The trail is still under-maintained... 1) If you're a beginner hiker or averse to bugs: If you're planning to visit the Naewonam store: I recommend returning to the Amusement Park course rather than ascending the Heukseok course. 2) Drinking makgeolli and entering the valley are both usually done on the way down, but for this course, you need to decide when you'll do one or the other! I planned this route because I thought it would be more dangerous to hike after drinking.
