Meeting Jason Becker - The Guitar Legend! What I discovered after meeting him was that there was already a connection between us culturally, musically and spiritually even before we even met. That made it feel like it was all meant to happen but we’re only realising it now. I was so inspired when I met Jason Becker. It was very emotional to see that even with ALS for over 30 years that stopped everything in his body, it didn’t stop his determination and he still remains happy, passionate, funny, giving and never gives up despite having one of the worst illnesses ever. It made me realise how grateful we should be with our life and how we should always make the best of every moment we are alive. It’s a shame we realise the importance only when we lose something forever. That’s why Jason is an absolute inspiration to so many people and shows how following our passion inspite of any hurdles is so important in our life. When I met him I wanted to show him the Indian Traditional Carnatic music because I can feel an instant divine connection through it. I heard he’s always had people playing all Heavy Metal and shredding in the past so today when I met him I wanted to give him an experience that’s also really special to me. During that time, the music took us to a place where each & everyone there were feeling something unexplainable and I was feeling all of us in that room merged as one beyond our body & mind! When I was playing, I could feel the energy from him and that really makes me so happy to see him enjoying it and I could make the connection to him through music. This meeting is nothing short of a magical experience! The past months I’ve had some really emotional experiences and these events really changes me every time and teaches me to be a better person. I cannot thank Mr Becker enough for such a wonderful, inspiring and emotional day. I will forever proudly have it close to my heart that I got to meet this absolute living legend and I got to share a special moment with him that I’ll cherish forever!
