Man files $20M lawsuit against NC sheriff, former deputy

A North Carolina truck driver filed a $20 million lawsuit against a former Northampton County, NC, deputy and the sheriff. It follows the release of a viral courthouse surveillance video. Don Long alleges unlawful use of force after the deputy sprayed pepper spray into his eyes and assaulted him. The suit sheds more light on what happened when Long showed up for court back in January.
