Every Sonic Game Reference in 'Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog'

In this video we’ll take a look back every time 1993’s ‘Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog’ TV series made either a direct reference to, or adapted parts of, the Sonic The Hedgehog video game series. This DiC Animation City project from the early 1993’s is arguably Sonic at its absolute silliest: a slapstick, daft comedy show that felt a million miles away from the video games at the time (that’s certainly how it felt to me, anyway). But on closer inspection, this show actually adapted elements of the video games available at the time (Sonic 1, 2 and Spinball… and maybe Sonic CD…?) more often and more closely that you may realise at first glance. So join me as we take a deep dive into the badniks, zones, adaptations and other elements from the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series that showed up in episodes of ‘Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog’.
