First Time in Beijing - Solo Female Traveler in China | S1E6

It was time to say goodbye to Hangzhou and head north to my next stop: Beijing! I didn’t know what to expect. The media always showed me gray, polluted images of the city, but I came to see historic and cultural Beijing instead. On the way, I had a drink delivered to my train seat (so fun!) and even had a “mute conversation” with a seatmate using Google Translate. Once in Beijing, Mason showed me around the China National Arts and Crafts Museum, and later I had my very first Peking Duck dinner, and even tried the famous Beijing yogurt. By the end of the night, I was exhausted but excited… because tomorrow, we head to the Great Wall of China!
