Tuned DADF#AD The guitar has a raised bone nut and saddle, the string spacing was increased to the maximum available when the nut was made- making slide playing easier, and sound better. The strings sit about 1/4 of an inch above the fretboard, and the guitar is played with a solid steel bar. The strings are medium/heavy gauge D'Addario phosphor bronze 13-56, BUT there is a 17 on the high E- so it runs 17, 17, 26, 35, 45, 56.
