We’ve just had an unforgettable stay on the Hokianga Harbour, just outside Opononi, and this spot seriously blew us away. With nearly 360-degree views, epic sunrises and sunsets, and plenty of drone-worthy scenery, this campsite felt like winning the lottery. We even got the little boat in the water and explored the harbour, discovering some incredible, off-the-beaten-track places. Nicky and I managed to sneak in a date night floundering, while the kids made the most of beachcombing and adventure time. If you’re new here, welcome!
