On June 22, 2026, a fire ripped through a three-story building in Lucknow, India, killing 15 people. The building had a pet shop on the ground floor and an animation centre above – but only ONE staircase and ZERO emergency exits. Within minutes, flames and smoke blocked the only way out. People jumped from windows. Others climbed down power cables. Firefighters had to break through a wall just to get in.
