Bat Country was one of the earliest DLC songs to drop for the game and I became obsessed with Avenged Sevenfold from that point on. While Chapter Four was the first song I'd ever heard from them (shoutout to Madden 2004's soundtrack), it was playing along to that song that fully sent me down the A7X rabbit hole. As a result of my background in Rock Band, drummers like Mike Portnoy, Neil Peart, and of course The Rev heavily influenced my journey as a drummer/musician. M. Shadows is one my most definitive vocal influences as well. I'm extremely grateful to Chance and Bradley for giving me this opportunity to pay tribute to the band in such a special way in honor of both the band's 25th anniversary and City of Evil's upcoming 20th anniversary. I chose to upload Blinded In Chains because I think it really showcases my growth as a musician (especially as a drummer) since I originally discovered the band and this album. I also find the drum track on this one to be the most fun to play despite its overall difficulty. This was one of the most difficult projects I've ever tackled, but it's also been an extraordinarily rewarding experience and I'm extremely happy with how it came out! I hope you all enjoy it!
