Getting The New Gun in The Water & Spearfishing from a Kayak in Studland Bay!

It's April 2026 & officially my first dive of the year! After several failed attempts in March this is the first weather window I had all year. So I've headed down to Swanage to do some Spearfishing and search for Sea Bass! I'm taking my little kayak for it's first spearing trial, and also taking the new gun out into the water! The conditions were OK, and I searched in the area of Old Harry rocks. I explore shallow String weed fields and Sea grass meadows for fish. I see a couple of fish, blow an opportunity to shoot a nice Bass.
