El Concurso de Doma Campera de Mulos al Carro de La Pará se traslada a la tarde del domingo

The spectacular Mule-Driving Competition at the "Una Pará en Gines" festival, now in its fifth year, will take place on Sunday, October 8th, starting at 3:00 PM in the Pará ox arena. The organizers have established cash prizes for the top six finishers, as well as for the three best local participants. Pulling a cart, guided by the muleteer, and always at a walking pace, the mules will have to navigate the various obstacles within a maximum time limit of 9 minutes. Among the challenges they will encounter along the course are zigzags, reversing, and turning both ways, demonstrating the muleteer's skill and control of their animals. As with all the events at the Pará festival, it is strictly forbidden to mistreat the animals; any such mistreatment will result in automatic disqualification. Registration will take place on the day and at the same venue as the competition, one hour before the start of the event.
