The RIOT Discography: 40+ Years of Great Albums & the Best Heavy Metal Mascot. LET'S TALK METAL # 23
Many metalheads are familiar with at least some of the classic tracks laid down by New York's legendary RIOT. For many, however, their catalog can still be a bit confusing, and with good reason. Over 40+ years the band has features five different vocalists, gone through several stylistic shifts musically, and even instigated a slight name change. But through the storm this band has consistently pumped out some of the best hard rock, metal, and power metal ever recorded. From their hard rocking roots to their powered-out speed metal masterpieces and the glorious rock-metal standard-bearers of the 1990s, this band has done it all. There are plenty of great videos documenting the band's career, so tonight I'm just going to work my way though their lengthy discography to share my thoughts on their career and help those not in the know figure out the many twists and turns of their musical legacy. This video is 100% Tior approved.
