I restored a junk 40-year-old Nintendo Game & Watch — Mickey & Donald. This console was in rough condition: missing front plates, a missing battery lead, damaged polarizers, and weak LCDs that barely showed an image. What began as a simple repair quickly turned into something much deeper. I replaced a leaking capacitor, repaired damaged traces, recreated the missing front plate artwork, rebuilt the battery lead, and carefully brought the console back to life — as much as possible. The screen still isn’t perfect. But after 44 years, preserving this console’s character and history felt more important than perfection. This is a fan-made restoration project created for documentation and educational purposes. All characters and original artwork belong to their respective owners.
