Your Lightroom Masking Clinic - Pt. 3 Masking Brush, Modifiers of Add, Subtract and Intersect Masks

Your Lightroom Masking Clinic - Pt. 3 Masking Brush, Modifiers of Add, Subtract and Intersect Masks In part three of our Lightroom Masking Clinic series we cover the demo and use of the Masking brush. Additionally, we cover the use of our masking modifiers - ADD, SUBTRACT and INTERSECTING masks. The masking brush gives us a lot of power to apply masks easily to large and small areas as well as areas of irregular size. It also comes in handy to modify or clean up other masks. Whether we are using the masking brush top apply a primary mask or using to modify others masks, the flexibility of the masking brush give us the ability to make dramatic changes to our photograph. The mask modifiers of ADD, SUBTRACT allow us to enhance our masking by cleaning up edges and adding/subtracting those little areas our original mask it couldn’t quite handle accurately. INTERSECTING masks is highly customizable and gives us the ability to accurately define the areas of effect with the combination of two masks. This feature can have profound effects with light and color when used effectively on our photographs.
