Not far from Krakow, literally less than an hour away by train is the city of Katowice. This beautiful city is totally misunderstood and overlooked as it's wedged in between Wroclaw and Krakow where the majority of tourists visit. On this walking tour and travel vlog, I'll show you why you need to visit Katowice. We will leave the train station and head directly for Spodek - the spaceship inspired concert venue. It's a really cool spot and a nice introduction to the city. We can look at the contrasting styles of architecture between the Art Nouveau and more modern looks that the city has to offer. As a big fan of churches and parks, I'll take you to one of each to give you a proper introduction to the city. Finally, as we cut back to catch our train to lower Silesia - I'll show you an interesting spot for some wedding dress shops and then we will grab a Georgian delicacy before we part.
