Speaking at the state-level inauguration of the Priyadarshini Scheme, the Chief Minister emphasized that the program aims to empower women by ensuring safe, affordable, and dignified mobility. According to the Chief Minister, women should be able to travel with confidence and pride, without financial barriers limiting their access to education, employment, healthcare, and other opportunities. He highlighted that the scheme is expected to contribute to greater participation of women in the workforce and public life, while also boosting economic activity. The Chief Minister also expressed pride in the government's ability to implement the Indira Guarantee promises within the first month of assuming office. He described the launch of the Priyadarshini Scheme as a major milestone in fulfilling commitments made to the people and strengthening social justice initiatives.
