It's confession time! In this video I show you my most expensive fountain pen purchase yet and a cheap second-hand stationery find. I hope you enjoy my September 2025 confession 😊 WHAT IS CONFESSION TIME In this series I talk openly and honestly about MONEY and my spending habits. I share ALL STATIONERY I have bought since the last episode - and reveal you the real numbers of how much this hobby aka passion costs me. Do you have a stationery budget or sinking fund or do you track your stationery spending? If so, I would love to hear about it! If you also want to start being mindful about your spending habits, the first step is to start tracking. I know it's scary, but the first step towards change is recognition. Good things to track are: WHAT did you buy? WHEN (and where) did you buy it? HOW MUCH did it cost? WHY did you buy it? If you don't want to see numbers (yet), you can start by journaling about your purchases - or even better about your wants before making any purchasing decisions. For me this is not about restriction. First and foremost this is about being able to buy sustainably what I really want without any credit card debt or money problems. I have had enough of sleepless nights caused by financial stress and I don't want to be in that kind of situation ever again. That is why talking about money is so near and dear to my heart.
