A few weeks ago I got invited to display my car and participate in a special Tokyo Drift theamed car gathering put togeather by the guys at Option. The idea behind the whole event was to showcase not only some of the best cars in the Tokyo area but do so for a rather special guest. Enter Thomas Schäfer the CEO of VW, who happened to be in Japan for a visit. It seems the man behind the group’s passenger cars wanted to get a taste for the love and passion people have for cars in Japan and with the offering Option organised for him also see what car guys and girls do with VWs of all types and generations.
