DiRT Rally 2.0 Longplay -- Slow Is Smooth, Smooth Is Fast (Part 4/4) FINALE

It's tarmac so entirely different handling. It seems straightforward, but the pacenotes feel off to me (turns are tighter than the pacenotes say). I should have been more cautious but I am feeling confident about the car. I was doing alright until DiRT Rally 2.0 physics borked me over. Maybe finally my luck is used up and now the bad omen begins. I touched an invincible sign, car turned around, I had to Austin Powers my way out of there. Ever since then it is not the same groove, I quickly lost 13 places and was back in top 50. I clawed my way back into top 40 and spotted my formidable opponents Faith, Ivo, and jphachiroku that I can gauge my performance on ("laddering'?) I made too many minor mistakes and the normal wear and tear of the car is starting to get to me. I am in 'repair debt' where some parts of the car has to be left unrepaired to not accrue penalty times. I thought it is gonna solve itself when I drive clean but apparently not. Maybe this time my driving isn't clean enough to buy time. ----SPOILERS Unfortunately a small slipup (maybe the pacenotes was off or a bit late because I was blazing? Or I misheard?) cause my car to tumble and reset (adding 15 secs) or go the other way. There goes my painstakingly accrued time, there's no way to get the time back now. I keep pushing like normal but I seem to have lost all groove so I keep making really bad mistakes. This particular leg is now garbage compared to the rest of my entire run. My 'ladder' opponents (opponents similar to my own performance and standing that I can safely compare to) have gone a few positions up while I stay. Miraculously I am able to stay and not fall off, but that is pretty much the difference between top 30 and top 35.
