#asiago #mountain #trekking ROUTE DESCRIPTION The route commemorates the three mountains (Valbella, Col del Rosso, and Col d'Ecchele), the scene of the bloody battle of the same name in 1918. The starting point is Ronco Carbon in the municipality of Gallio, where the Monte Valbella ski lifts are located. The route does not have a dedicated trail marker. Please refer to our GPX track, which almost entirely follows the description on the Asiago.it website; we made a final detour to also climb Monte Valbella. Circumvent Monte Valbella, passing by Malga Stenfle, quickly reaching Cippo Niccolai. Then climb to Col del Rosso and from there descend following the CAI 805 trail marker. Pass by Malga Melago and then climb up to the Valbella ridge. The route would continue to the left, but as mentioned, we took a right to the summit of Valbella. From there, it's a short descent to the starting point.
