The new look significantly changes the experience of an airport that for years had become too small in the face of the city's growth and the enormous volume of passengers. The first thing that catches your eye is the interior design. The curved ceilings, the lighting fixtures, the wood finishes, the green spaces, and the gleaming floors give it an elegant and contemporary feel. It no longer simply conveys the feeling of being in a transit building, but rather a space designed to allow travelers to orient themselves, rest, eat, or wait for their flight with greater comfort. As a user, the presence of more commercial areas, restaurants, and seating areas is also appreciated. The corridors feel more open, and the layout is more logical. Everything seems designed to move large numbers of people without the airport feeling so confined or chaotic. But a renovation shouldn't be judged solely on its aesthetics. The real test begins from the moment you try to arrive and ends when you manage to leave. Some passengers acknowledge that the terminal is more comfortable and organized, but they continue to point out problems related to external traffic flow, access to transportation, and taxi fares. In other words: internally, the airport has taken a giant leap forward; externally, there are still details that can turn arrival into a minor test of Guadalajara's survival skills. The transformation is still part of a larger project. The airport will continue to receive investments to expand its capacity, improve its roads, and prepare new infrastructure during the 2025–2029 period. Guadalajara is the focus of a significant portion of Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico's investment program, precisely because it is one of the main connection points in western Mexico. From a user's perspective, the overall result is clearly positive. The airport now offers a much more fitting welcome to Guadalajara: modern, bright, and with character. However, the challenge isn't simply having a spectacular terminal for photos. True success will come when the entire experience is seamless: entering, checking in, going through security, finding the gate, boarding, and exiting without wasting time or patience.
