Batalik - Aryan Valley | The Chronicles of Ladakh - Ep 15 | Kargil to Leh via Batalik, Dah, Hanu

Aryan Valley is a small region in Ladakh near Kargil. It has five villages: Dah, Hanu, Garkon, Darchik, and Chulichan. All these villages are located on both sides of the Indus River and are home to the Brokpa people. Batalik is a town in Ladakh, located about 56 kms from Kargil. It was the focal point in the Kargil War because of its strategic location between Kargil, Leh, and Baltistan. We traveled from Lamayuru to Kargil covering Aryan Valley and Batalik village.
