Extreme heavy rainfall is forecast for the central region from early morning to late morning tomorrow. Heavy rain reaching up to 80mm per hour is expected to pour down. Currently, heavy rain is falling in the Chungcheong and Yeongnam regions, with heavy rain advisories in effect in many areas. In addition, strong red rain clouds that developed over the West Sea are approaching and will bring heavy rain, mainly to the central region. Torrent rain exceeding 300mm is expected in the Seoul metropolitan area and inland Gangwon by the day after tomorrow, and over 250mm in northern Chungcheong. More than 150mm of rain is expected in northern Gyeongbuk, and over 120mm along the west coast of Jeonbuk. With the rain tomorrow, daytime temperatures in the central region will fall below 30 degrees Celsius. Seoul is expected to reach 26 degrees, and Gangneung 24 degrees. Gwangju will reach 31 degrees during the day, slightly lower than today. In the Yeongnam region, Daegu and Ulsan will reach up to 32 degrees.
