Wisconsin-based band ARCHERS is a force to be reckoned with. Emerging in 2015 as the brainchild of founders Ben Koehler (guitar) and Nathanael Pulley (lead vocals), the duo laid the foundation for a dynamic musical journey. Sharing a passion for both the metalcore and pop-rock worlds, it wasn’t long before their casual creative outlet became a project that encapsulates the ups and downs of life, mental health, and relationships. With Oscar Porter (bass/vocals) and Grayson Mesarosh (drums) later joining the ranks, the members of ARCHERS continue to carve their path in the music industry on their own terms. Proudly independent, the turning point for ARCHERS arrived in 2020 with the release of their EP, ‘New Normal.’ Their infectious soundscapes and introspective lyrics reminiscent of scene heavy-hitters like Dayseeker and Sleep Token resonated with listeners early on in their sonic development. From then on, the band has only fine-tuned their sound with standout singles like “Bitter” and “Say This Sober.” Each song weaves a story that is both vulnerable and visceral, a juxtaposition that resonates with the band’s loyal fanbase. There is strength and power to be reclaimed in the darkest of times, and ARCHERS find the light through their punchy blend of distorted guitars and soulful vocals.
