Escaping Tokyo to Rural Shizuoka 🇯🇵 | 2 Days in Japan’s Hidden Countryside

Hi, I’m asuka🌿 I took a short trip to a rural area called Shimoda in Shizuoka Prefecture since I’ve been working late and have been really busy lately,. It was refreshing to get away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and connect with nature. I saw mountain roads that looked like something out of *Spirited Away*, as well as the ocean and a port town that looked like they could be straight out of Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea 🏄‍♂️🌳⛰️ Also, the Shimoda Prince Hotel has a private beach right in front of it, so the sound of the waves was constantly echoing through my room.
