Serb sources claim they are responding to continued K-L-A attacks. The K-L-A, however, say a major Serb offensive is under way. Local sources say the Serbian security forces blocked two major roads in Kosovo, earlier on Saturday. Reporters were halted by police about 10 km (six miles) north of Pristina. Tanks, armoured personnel carriers (APCs) and army troops were deployed on and near the highway. Heavy small-arms fire could be heard nearby. Serb sources say the K-L-A attacked the police station near Luzane, 18 km (11 miles) north of Pristina, on Friday evening, although no casualties were reported. An Associated Press photographer in the Srbica area was slightly wounded by a sniper bullet which ricocheted off his belt buckle.
