Today we're taking you on one of those days that never seem to end. A day filled with milking, grazing, gardening, barns, haymaking, and many small tasks that often go unseen but are part of our daily life here on the farm. We've decided to build a new night pen for our cows. During the day, they graze freely in the meadows and woods around the farm, but at night, we prefer to keep them closer to home. It's a choice that makes us feel more at ease and allows us to monitor them better. Meanwhile, the day continues as usual: 🐄 tending the cows and calves 🌱 garden work and irrigation 🥔 daily battle against the Colorado potato beetle 🚜 mowing the meadows for hay 🐕 caring for the farm animals 🌹 picking the last roses that survived the hailstorm 🌙 first night in the new enclosure These are simple days, made up of repeated gestures and tasks that often go unnoticed, but which slowly build our life here at Cascina Girasole.
