In a fun talk, Renato tells us how he used to climb trees during his childhood vacations, which unintentionally led him to become an Urban Ecologist. Currently, he studies the challenges urban trees face in surviving and the impact this has on the urban environment in which many of us live. A biologist by training and an ecologist specializing in forestry and microclimate studies, he now dedicates himself to research and projects on urban vegetation and trees. He is a research professor in the Urban and Landscape Design program at the Faculty of Habitat of the UASLP (Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí).
