UDR attacked Dungannon 2 8 1988
Recalling UDR soldiers, travelling in 3 landrovers, attacked by IRA terrorist landmine, at Carland Road, Dungannon, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, near Tyrone Brick Works, on 2 August 1988. Soldiers in the second of the three vehicles were caught in the blast, but their vehicle carried on for a short distance.
