BUT we must do it in 5 hours or we'll miss the last bus to take us home from the temple! This is one of the best day hikes in Japan and is just outside of Osaka. It starts with a leisurely walk along a beautiful river up towards the historic Minoh Falls. From there we tackle several climbs, each more intense than the last. All in hope of finding the secret entrance to Katsuo-Ji Temple, famous for its mountain setting and large collection of Daruma Dolls.
