Nordseecluster Project Film

The Nordseecluster combines wind farm sites in the eastern part of the German North Sea, located approximately 50 km north of the island of Juist. With a total capacity of up to 1.6 GW the Nordseecluster will generate enough green electricity to supply the equivalent of 1,600,000 homes. The Nordseecluster focuses on innovation and sustainability. As such, state-of-the-art, sustainable technologies are being used and implement on the NC2 subarea. As part of the N2OWF innovation project, funded by the Innovation Fund, several innovative technologies, reducing the CO2 footprint are getting implemented at NC2, by suppliers from all over Europe.
