Today it's time to celebrate, one of the greatest producers in hip-hop history, Preemo is probably the best sample digger, Pete Rock the more jazzy/soul, but Easy Mo Bee is easily the best when it's time to speak about drums and how a track supposed to sound and make head nod. As a humble beatmaker, I'm very inspired by his work and how he can articulate the samples to make it a coherent and melodious whole.
