Popular since 2008 with the first generation, the Kuga immediately won over European customers, and last year, with the second generation, it set a new sales record with over 102,000 units (+19% compared to 2014). This record is set to be broken by the end of 2016, considering that in the first nine months, Kuga sales have already exceeded 95,000 units. Available with prices starting from €23,250, the updated Kuga brings, in addition to the aforementioned Sync 3, innovative technologies such as a semi-automatic parking system with perpendicular parking function, a new version of the automatic emergency braking system in the city, an adaptive lighting system, and, above all, intelligent all-wheel drive. The new Kuga's engine lineup includes the new 1.5-liter TDCi with 120 hp and front-wheel drive (replacing the previous 2.0-liter TDCi with the same power output), the 2.0-liter TDCi with 150 hp (also AWD) and 2.0-liter TDCi with 180 hp (AWD and available only on the ST-Line and Vignale), and the 1.5-liter EcoBoost with 120 hp and front-wheel drive and the 1.5-liter EcoBoost with 150 hp, also with front-wheel drive and only on the ST-Line.
