Nação | TVE- Cultura Rastafári - 2º Bloco - 11/08/2014

Spread throughout the world through reggae, Rastafari dates back to Jamaica in the 1920s. This week's Nação program addresses this political and religious movement with African roots. Born in the slums of Jamaica, the initial purpose of Rastafari was to combat discrimination based on race and social class. Presenter Fernanda Carvalho presents the details of this philosophy, which proposes a simpler lifestyle closer to nature. Featuring Jah Fernando, Luciano Judah, Pablo Seearasta, Paulo Dionísio, and Luis Vagner.
