Life is just too short to not live as your authentic self. In the past I have presented myself with challenges aiming to make me a better/different person, but it only brought anxiety and feelings of hopelessness. I took a break from music for most of the past month and am returning with the idea that the things I enjoy do not need to be done efficiently so I can churn out content. I do this because I love making music.
