Telehealth Physical Exam: Abdominal

The focus of this Telehealth session is on how the provider instructs the patient in a self-exam with the use of a tablet and/or computer, along with a series of questions. This video shows how a provider instructs a patient to help with an abdominal exam. This series of Telehealth training videos was developed through the Center for Telehealth Innovation, Education and Research (C-TIER) at the Ellmer School of Nursing, Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University. They were produced during the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020, in response to the growing demand for telemedicine services and providers trained in conducting exams by Telehealth.
