HOW TO: Heater Matrix Change | Peugeot 206

IN this PiggyPower guide; Replacing your leaking/blocked heater matrix in your Peugeot 206. No need to remove the dashboard! LEFT HAND DRIVE: To anyone attempting this on a left-hand drive - according to the Peugeot manual you must remove the whole dashboard to change the heater matrix. Most mechanics will quote you 3-5 hours of labor because of this. It is possibly by way of using a Dremel to cut the corner of the plastic dashboard away, then glue it back together after the job is done. Took approx. 30 minutes of cutting and gluing time. The cut is made in the lower right side by your knees, so you can't see the cut unless you know it’s there. But obviously you will always have some visual damage. The throttle pedal will also need to be removed for access. 15minutes in/out for that.
