My new Drake R4B from eBay HELL update all cleaned up and other amateur radio projects in progress

I was shocked at how bad this Drake R4B was inside. The seller had no pictures of how the extensive damage was to the inside top under the top cover. When I opened it up all I saw was a sea of toxic tar goo over more than 1/2 of the upper deck of the receiver. All over everything. 2 days cleaning up this R4B Still not sure if it works All that goo is from the power transformer shorting out, getting hot and boiling over inside and all this goo came out. The radio must have been left on and you think the fuse would have blown! Power transformer on order as existing power transformer melted down and spewed tar and toxic filth when someone else owned this radio. I did insert a 10 amp fuse and removed the red wires secondaries from the HV diodes and powered up the transformer. Tubes lit. Meter and freq dial lit. And i hard a bubble bubble and a frying sound. And a bad bad smell. Pulled the power transformer and into the trash it went. Can not find exact one Will try a Hammond 269BX Having 6.3 volt secondary at 2 amps And 300 volt center tapped secondary for B+ Need to convert 12BA6 to 6BA6 tubes And 12BE6 to 6BE6 Due to no 12.6 center tap filament transformer easily had or found. The transformer I ordered and 99.99999 % of the transformers out there are 6.3 volt filament only. Why did Drake use this odd ball transformer and 12 volt heater tubes? Beats me.
