Volvo 740 Parking Brake Retrofit
In this video I show how I added a parking brake adjuster to my 1992 Volvo 740. I was unable to get the parking brake adjusted to properly hold the car. The factory spreader bar is replaced with a standard adjuster available from any autoparts source. The entire job takes about 30 minutes per side and requires minimal power tool use and requires cutting a slot into the brake dust shield to allow access to the adjuster.
