Making an Internal Keyway Cutter - Vertical Slotter or Shaper Toolholder
When I bought this Morey Vertical Slotter, it had no tooling with it. With little to go on, I have built all of my own tooling. This toolholder will hold the Morris Keyseater cutters and be a very versatile tool. Starting with 4140 Prehard, watch as I make this tooling using nothing more than my Lion lathe, Bridgeport milling machine, and my own expertise. Topper Machine LLC is an entirely manual machine shop located in Spooner, WI. Our videos will highlight some of our shop work as well as the sawmill we built in the shop and our A.D. Baker steam engine, and others we work on. Thank you for watching!
