After a few weeks in the Sea of Cortez we have gotten into a nice rhythm of finding nice anchorages, hanging out for a few days and then sail off a few miles to the next spot. We take advantage of a stiff southerly wind to crush a twenty mile sail to Isla San Fransico. It's a race (well at least in Bill's mind) between Delos, OneLife and Calico Skies. We narrowly beat Delos to the anchorage (they got within 500ft of us after 20 miles of sailing!) Isla San Francisco is a popular anchorage with clear water and a great hike to the top for an awesome overlook. As things go with the cruising life the wind shifts overnight leading to a choppy night on anchor. We decide to get out of the swell and head to a nearby anchorage. It a gorgeous light air sail with our code zero. The new spot is very pretty but overnight we are attacked by a swarm of no see-ums.
